After leaving school, I studied at Rhodes University (in East London and Grahamstown), obtaining my BCom and PDipAcc all with distinction, qualifying as a CA (SA). I completed my training contract at KPMG where I am currently the Partner in Charge of the East London office's Assurance Practice, but travel extensively for KPMG, locally and internationally. I head up the Industrial and Automotive and Financial Services Groups in the Region. I completed two postgraduate studies in International Taxation (one at RAU and one at New York) and am a member of BSP Seminars (Johannesburg) Tax Panel.

I am married to Lisa who is a manager at Deloitte and Touche, who seems to match my travel regimen (she recently completing three months in Zurich Corporate Finance).
