The Channel Islands are not really in the English Channel but can
be found nestling in the Gulf of St Malo. The Closest point on Jersey to to the mainland of
France is just 13kms.
The Island of Jersey is primarily focused on the supply of financial
services coupled with a barage of accountancy and law firms supporting in the wings. The Island has and still
is the home to many tax exiles more commonly know as the "K" resident in Jersey - a term taken from the section 1(1)
K of the housing law, which admits a newcomer on "social and economic" grounds.
