Old Boys,
How time flies….
It has been 15 years since the class of 1991
walked through the Selborne College gates in Lukin Road one final time. A lot has happened since then. South Africa won the rugby world cup, Bill Clinton met a girl called Monica and Old Boys have settled across the Globe, calling
places as far a field as Hokki Tikka, Maidenhead, Atlanta
and Port Alfred home.
In this period of great change it is reassuring
to acknowledge that some things have stayed constant. Selborne College continues to excel on the sports fields, tracks,
courts, rivers and in swimming pools across South Africa,
the schools hymn signing is officially the worst in the country, Mr Midlane continues to use the same overhead projector slides
for Biology and the hostel sandwiches remain a dodgy lunch time option.
To celebrate both the changes and the constants
the UK branch of the 1991 Matric Class would like
to invite all Old Boys to join us in celebrating our 15 years on from life at Selborne College.

As
always the more the merrier – Old Boys of other years are encouraged to come along. So whether you matriculated in 1945 or 2005 please join us, it promises to be
a most enjoyable evening.
The reunion will be a great opportunity to catch
up on old friendships and rekindle some
new ones. Unlike some previous events there will be no pressure around fund raising and the general theme of the evening will be relaxed and casual. However, as this is a good opportunity to give a little bit back to the school, Anton Weber will act as a contact person should anyone wish to make a donation.
Given the passing of time we do not have everyone’s current email address so please pass this
on to any and all Old Selbornians who would like to attend.
