Hello Class of 92

Just thought I would add my story to the list of
the most successful group of Selbornians ever to
have graced the hallowed grounds of Selborne
College.

It has been great catching up with all the guys
and seeing what everyone has been up to in the
past 10 years. Boy time flies!!!!

While most of the guys have left Slummies some
of us stayed behind. Hey someone's got to make
sure the place is still here when you guys come
back.

After matriculating I studied at Rhodes
University where I obtained a very average
B.Comm in Economics and Management. During
this time the odd student job was done where I
could pursue more important things in life like
beer.

After finishing up at Varisty I headed straight for
the corporate world and joined a Financial
Services Company in East London. The company
I work for is NFB Financial Services Group which
is one of the leading Financial Brokerages in
South Africa. My title is that of an Independent
Financial Advisor and I am responsible for
ensuring client's personal wealth through
financial planning, which includes equity
portfolio management and offshore investing.

Like some of you, I will be getting married at the
end of the year to Juliet Kerr (ex Stirling Girl).
Golf and Hockey still take up a lot of my interest
and Iook forward to taking some money off the
guys at the East London Golf Club over the
Reunion weekend.

For my sins I have been allocated the job of
co-coordinating things from East London for the
Reunion. I will be posting the suggested
programme of events on the website shortly.
