After I left Selborne I went to Rhodes in Grahamstown. I Studied Law and finished up there at the end of 1997. I carried on rowing for a while but later decided I needed a break from it. After Rhodes I completed my articles at Bate Chubb and Dickson in E.L. I got engaged at the end of 1999 and went overseas in the new year (Irealand and the UK) The poms made it clear they didn't want me there so I was only there for three months. Came back to East London and continue to practice with a small firm Bradfield and Cocks. I then got married at the end of 2001 to Lee-Anne Lane (Stirling 92) No kids yet! I have recently started working for a national labour law company where I practice labour law exclusively.

I am now living in Port Elizabeth having relocated from East London plus minus 2-3 years ago. I am a labour consultant/labour attorney.
