The building was built in 1897 and has been our home since December 2001. The "Wing" sector of the house is rented
from a local Jersey farmer.

Local housing laws and regulation prevent Non-Jersey born residents from purchasing property and thus falling prey to the
infamous "Non Qualies" housing law. My son Joshua "Jersey born" must reside in Jersey for a period of
10 yrs before he will be granted his "housing qualifications" strangely enough he needs to be 18 to purchase a property
in his name.
